Orchard Lake, MI (3-30-26) – The Polish Institute of Culture & Research at Orchard Lake invites the public to an afternoon of music, beauty, and purpose at “With a Song in My Heart,” a special fundraiser concert supporting the future of the Galeria. The event will take place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the Galeria on the campus of the Orchard Lake Schools.
This thoughtfully curated program brings together a medley of music expressing love, both human and Divine. Set within the intimate and acoustically rich setting of the Galeria, the concert will feature an exceptional trio of artists: Stacey Mason, violinist and vocalist; Andrew Langlands, vocalist; and Ken Krach, pianist.
More than a performance, this concert is an invitation to be part of something lasting. Proceeds from the afternoon will directly support the installation of a new sound system in the Galeria, enhancing the experience of concerts, lectures, and cultural programming for years to come. This special event is co-chaired in partnership with the Polish Institute by Barbara Glinski, Julie Janosz, and Jo Obloy, whose leadership and dedication have helped bring this vision to life.
Additional sponsorship opportunities remain available to support this effort. Those interested in sponsoring are encouraged to reach out to the Polish Institute at info@picrol.org or by calling 248-836-1284. Community support is essential to the success of this initiative, and donations of any level are sincerely welcomed.
“The level of artistry we are bringing into the Galeria continues to grow,” said Ania Bieciuk, Associate Director for Polonia Affairs. “We are presenting performances of truly exceptional quality, and they deserve to be experienced as they were meant to be heard. A concert hall worthy sound system is not a luxury, it is essential to honoring the musicians, elevating the audience experience, and allowing this space to reach its full potential.”
Located on the historic Orchard Lake Schools campus, founded in 1885 by Polish priest Józef Dąbrowski, the Polish Institute of Culture & Research continues a mission rooted in preserving heritage while engaging new audiences. Through its exhibitions, concerts, and educational initiatives, the Institute serves both the Polish American community and all who value culture, history, and the arts.
Tickets are $40 in advance and $50 at the door. Admission includes the concert, a post-performance reception, and a curated wine service. Tickets may be purchased online at www.picrol.org (https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/fundraiser-concert-for-the-galeria) or by contacting the Institute directly.
