The Polish Institute of Culture & Research in collaboration with Orchard Lake St. Mary’s Art Department is looking for Fine Arts Student Ambassadors and Volunteers to participate in cultural and artistic events on campus.
The Polish Institute will organize a variety of cultural events throughout the school year and will need St. Mary’s students to support its mission. Please visit the Polish Institute of Culture and Research website: https://picrol.org to learn more about the Institute.
As student volunteers you will use your capable minds and hands to guide participants through educational experiences as well as social, cultural and artistic activities. Your services will also be needed to spread the word about activities held and organized by the Institute. Volunteers can participate in as many events as they would like throughout the year and receive community service hours.
The Institute is also looking for two St. Mary’s Fine Arts Student Ambassadors (One from the Girls Division and one from the Boys Division). As a Fine Arts Student Ambassador, you will use your leadership skills to organize students and serve as a liaison between the Institute, the Art Department and student volunteers. In order to be considered for this role, you will fill out an application and if elected, serve for at least one semester.
To become a volunteer please contact Mrs. Julia Saldaña at jsaldana@stmarysprep.com.
If interested in applying for the Fine Arts Student Ambassador position, fill out an application and send it or turn in to Mrs. Saldaña at jsaldana@stmarysprep.com. You may also pick up an application in the Art classroom.
Please answer each question honestly and to the best of your ability.
