Pisanki Workshop at PICR

Orchard Lake Schools/Polish Institute of Culture & Research at Orchard Lake presents its 4th Annual Pisanki Workshop on Saturday, March 21, 2026, founded in 1885. This hands-on, educational program invites participants to learn the traditional wax-resist technique used to create pisanki, richly symbolic Polish Easter eggs representing faith, renewal, and new life. A children’s session at 10:00 AM is offered for $15 (up to age 18), with children under 13 accompanied by an adult. Adult sessions at 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM are offered for $40. All materials are included, and participants will take home their finished pisanka. Tickets are available at PICROL.org. Space is limited.
